Freight Issues - Fuel Surcharges

Gasoline and diesel fuel costs are expected to reach very high levels during the summer of 2004.  This means that the fuel surcharges charged by trucking companies and bulk carriers will escalate to much higher levels during this period of high prices.

In those rare cases where SWC has quoted delivered pricing to our customers, we will have no choice but to pass these surcharges on to our customers.  They are out of our control and are not an expense we can absorb as a manufacturer.

We appreciate your understanding in this matter.  We will work with you any way we can to lessen the impact of these surcharges.
